Canon Angela Tilby is an author and Anglican priest, who is now Diocesan Canon at Christ Church, Oxford, and Continuing Ministerial Development Advisor for the Diocese of Oxford.

Before ordination she spent 22 years as a producer within the BBC’s Religious Department, initiating and producing major documentary projects for radio and television. After ordination she became Tutor and then Vice-Principal of Westcott House and then, for nearly five years, she was vicar of St Bene’t’s Church in Cambridge. Well-known to Radio 4 listeners as a contributor to Thought for the Day she is interested in history, spirituality and world religions.
